We were really delighted to be working with the Environment Agency recently. The EA registered for the Big Microplastic Survey and then set about planning to survey a LOT of beaches in Devon and Cornwall. A total of 22 EA staff turned up on the day and in spite of some slightly damp conditions they managed to sample 31 beaches which was an incredible effort. BBC Southwest and BBC Radio Cornwall/Devon also came along to give us some fantastic publicity. Thank you all for the support – we are looking forward to getting the results.
