We recently attended the Citizen Science Association Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina. Having submitted an abstract to the convention we were delighted to be able to present the findings of our research to date at the poster event, as well engage with a lots of people from various research organisations who are undertaking citizen science projects. And given that we were not to far away from the Outer Banks it seemed like the perfect opportunity to undertake a comparative study of microplastics along the coastline.
Next conference on the agenda is the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly in Vienna where we will be presenting twice. We will let you know how we get on.
